Ceremony Additions

  • Sand Unity Ceremony- The bride and groom pour two different colored sands into a single glass container, mixing them and symbolizing that two have become one and cannot be separated.
  • Water ring blessing -Before the couple exchange rings, the officiant dips a koa wood bowl into the sea (koa wood, native to Hawaii, represents strength and integrity). A ti leaf, which represents prosperity and health, is dipped into the water and then sprinkled over the rings three times.
  • Lava Rock Offering- A lava rock, symbolic of the moment you made a commitment to each other, is wrapped in a ti leaf and left at the ceremony site as an offering commemorating your union.
