Hawaiian Marriage License Application- From this link you will be able to fill out your application on line and pay the $65 application fee. After completing the application you will be given a reference number which you will need for your Marriage License Appointment once on island!
- Bride and Groom must be at least 18 and provide valid photo ID.
- If either has been divorced in the past year, they must bring a valid copy of their divorce decree.
Marriage License Appointments
- Follow the link above to fill out and pay for your marriage license.
- Once completed you will be given a Locator number which you will need to bring to your marriage license appointment once on island
- There is a $5 processing fee at the Marriage License Appointment.
- If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will be given away.
- You will be issued your license at your marriage license appointment.
Receiving your Official Licence
After your ceremony you will be able to access your temporary marriage license on line 24 hours following your ceremony.
Your official copy of your marriage license can take up to 120 days to be received by mail from the Department of Health in Hawaii. You can expedite the process by going to the Department of Health Vital Records Ordering system and paying a $10 fee, then you will receive a copy with in 3-4 weeks. Please note, if the bride is taking the grooms last name HIS credit card (with the correct last name) must be used to make the purchase.
