Your Guide to a Magical Kauai Wedding
General
First off, we're so excited you have chosen Kauai for your wedding! It is such a special place! We typically start the planning process by receiving an on-line inquiry. Once we receive an inquiry, we will send over a proposal for you to review. If you are happy with the proposal you are able to easily accept it online and move forward with your ceremony date! You can also use our online booking system to set up a call with Jessica (who typically handles inquiries) or Hailey if you have any questions at all!

“I LOVE weddings and everything about wedding planning. I couldn't imagine doing anything else and I consider myself so lucky to have the opportunity to be a part of your wedding day. I have been a part of the Kauai wedding industry as long as I can remember, having started as a flower girl for elopements back in the early 90’s. I have a deep passion for the Kauai wedding industry and love supporting our talented local vendors”- Jess

Other
Ohhhhh this question!! We get asked about rain every single day, multiple times... Almost as much as it rains on Kauai. Lol. But on a serious note, it is something we work with every single day. We are experts in handling the weather here and knowing how to predict where the weather is going. We always have umbrellas on hand for your and your guests in case of a sprinkle. In the case of more extreme weather, we are able to move your ceremony time/ date to accommodate more favorable conditions.
“My favorite time of year is fall going into early winter, September through December. The temperatures are cooler, the summer crowds have dissipated, the cost of traveling to Kauai is less, and it's just over all more mellow on island”- Jess
This would actually depend on the location you choose. For beach weddings we recommend either morning or sunset. For waterfall or garden locations, mid-morning to afternoon times are preferable.
Nope, couples normally get ready at their accommodations and arrive in their full wedding attire at the ceremony location.
This totally depends on the time of year you are going to be on the island and we can definitely point you in the right direction based on where you are staying and your ceremony date.
We support the Surf Rider Foundation, B-rad foundation, KORE, Kauai humane society, Keala Foundation, Hanalei canoe club, HSA, & NSSA Youth surfing organizations.
